This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to delete alternate images from a PDF. It has three options that allow us to "Keep" some of them:

Default for printing": Those images that are marked as print versions (with the entry "DefaultForPrinting" in their dictionary) are kept. The others are deleted. -
"
Lowest resolution": The versions with the lower resolution are kept. The others are deleted. -
"Highest resolution": The versions with the higher resolution are kept. The others are deleted.
Those versions that meet the stated condition will be retained, so not all alternative images may be removed.
Warning: There is no "Remove all alternates" option. If its effect has not been limited, this command will affect all images within its reach that do not meet the "Keep" condition.
