This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to copy or move objects to specific layers in a document. The command requires three prior conditions:
-
That the document has layers (a flattened document, without named layers, has no layers).
-
That we have selected one of these layers. This layer selection must be made before selecting the objects to be added to it.
-
That we have selected the elements we want to copy or move. It is not necessary to add an operator to link both selections (layer's and objects'), PitStop assumes both selections as necessary in this command. The selected objects can be on different layers.
This command has only one option "Remove from other layers
" checkbox. If checked, the added objects will be unassigned from the original layer and added to the other layer.
