This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to set the value of the miter limit on vector paths. If nothing is selected, this command will affect all vector elements within its range (including text).
This value, inherited from PostScript, controls the drawing of the stroke projection at points where two strokes meet at a sharp angle. Very low values ("1
" or "2
") draw a beveled angle, higher values result in acute angles.
The miter limit value only affects strokes or text that have a stroke colour. It does not affect stroke ends or non-angled joints.
Its effect is a ratio between a number given as "miter limit
" and the thickness of the affected stroke. Its minimum allowed value is "1
", the default is "10
" although higher values are allowed.
