This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to apply four prepress parameters: "Under color removal
" (UCR), "Transfer
" (transfer function), "Black generation
" and "Halftone
" (custom halftone).
This command affects all selected elements, applying the chosen prepress parameter to them. If not selected, the command will affect all elements within its range.
For the command to be added to an action list, at the moment of creating it, we must have some element in the document that contains the prepress parameter that we want to apply pressed with the "Selection
" tool of the PitStop "Inspector
". That element can be pasted from another document, but it has to be present in the affected document at the moment of the execution of the action list. If not, it will have no effect (it can be deleted after applying the parameter).
We can then choose the option that we want to apply from that object to the others that we have selected with this command by also clicking on the checkbox "Grab ... from selection
".
If we apply the command and then examine the elements affected by it with the "Inspector
", we will see that they have now the prepress parameter that the source object had.
The command will have no visual effect except when printing.
