This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to check if fonts are embedded or not in a document. Whether the check passes or fails depends on what we want to detect as an error (there are two options):
- There must be no embedded fonts: If we want PitStop to detect embedded fonts as an error, we must choose the "
Must not
" option. If the program finds any embedded fonts, it is considered incorrect. - All fonts must be embedded: If, on the contrary, we want PitStop to detect the existence of unembedded fonts as an error, we must choose the "
Must
" option. If the programme finds any font without embedding, it is considered invalid.
When the check fails (i.e: happens what must not happen), a report is issued and the PDF will be marked as chosen in the "Log
" area for further processing.
