This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to check whether a spot colour with a certain suffix has been used in a document. There are two mutually exclusive check options. If the selected one is satisfied, the search is considered successful and the PDF will be marked as selected in the "Log" area for further processing.
The first option ("If a spot color has a suffix, then it must be, this known suffix…"), is that the suffix is one of a closed list of 22 possibilities provided by the programme, corresponding to the best known commercial direct inks.
The second ("If a spot color has a suffix, then it must be, not a known suffix"), is precisely the opposite: There is a suffix in the name of one of the defined spot colours, but it is none of the above list.
