Warning: This Enfocus PitStop command does not exist directly as such. This page has been added to make it easier for users to use the action lists, as the method of removing layers is not self-evident.
To delete a layer, we must put a sequence of three actions:
-
Select the objects in that layer with the command "
Select layers by name
" (if we want to delete all layers, the command is "Select layers
"). -
Delete the selection or delete the objects in that layer with one of the following two commands
-
If we want to delete the layer but keep the associated objects, we will use "
Delete objects from layers
". -
If we want to delete the layer and delete the associated content from the document, we will use "
Delete selection
".
-
-
We will delete the empty layer(s) with the command "
Delete empty layers
".
This is because, as we have already explained, the layers of a PDF are not like the layers of graphic programmes such as InDesign or Illustrator.
