This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to collect information about the inks on each page of a document. If nothing has been delimited with a selection, all pages are examined.
There information provided about each page: the inks involved (which in traditional printing will need their own plate), the percentage of the page they occupy (i.e. the percentage within the TrimBox) and the equivalent area in mm2 are indicated.
Warning: PitStop always reports the inks as if the documents were in CMYK, even if there are things in RGB or greyscale. For these colour types, the program calculates the values converting them on the fly on the basis of the current colour preferences.
Spot colours are reported as they are are without changes or conversions.
As with all information gathering orders, this information is only displayed in the requested report. It is not displayed in the "Navigator
" when running a list of actions.
