This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to modify a previously selected path by extending it outwards (positive values in "Offset
") or inwards, contracting it (negative values).
Corners will be treated depending on the value selected in the "Join
" option: corner, rounded or bevel.
The option "Miter limit
" is a value that allows the program to automatically switch from angle to bevel depending on the length/thickness ratio. It is usually not necessary to modify the default value of "10"
(a value of "1
" always results in a bevel).
If we select the "Create copy
" option, the original tracing will remain in place and a duplicate will be created with the new values.
This command works in much the same way as the "Object - Path - Offset
" menu in Adobe Illustrator.
