This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to overwrite each of the active PitStop colour management settings with new ones, more suited to the work to be done next.
Those parameters we do not want to change must be left with the value "Default
".
Warning: The values specified in this command are temporary. They are only used while running the action list in which it is located. Moreover, they only come into effect from their activation until the end of the execution of the list (or until another command such as "Restore previous colour management parameters" overrides them). In any case, when the list of actions ends, the colour management values return to their previous values.
This temporary setting overrides any other settings that may be in either PitStop or Acrobat.
The reason for changing the programme's colour management settings inside an action list is because these values are the basis for many of the colour changes . Therefore, it is often a good idea to set these values at the beginning of an action list if we are going to make any complex or critical colour change.
PitStop's colour management parameters are explained on the corresponding page.
