This Enfocus PitStop command allows the selected objects to be unlinked with respect to a given layer. The command requires three preconditions:
- The document must have layers (a flattened document, without named layers, contains no layers).
- That we have selected at least one of these layers. This layer selection must be made before selecting the objects to be deleted.
- That we have selected the elements we wish to disassociate from the layer, which must be associated with it, not with any other layer. It is not necessary to add any operator to link both selections (layer and objects), PitStop assumes both selections as necessary in this command.
Warning: This command does not remove the objects, it only dissociates them from the layer, as we have already explained in a page about layers in PDF format.
