This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to select elements that are present on a page but which are not visible because they are completely covered by something on top of them.
The hiding has to be total and the covering object must be opaque, that is, it cannot be in anything other than 100% "Normal
" blending mode.
Three hiding options can be chosen:
-
"
Determine visibility regardless on which layer an object is located
". This option judges the visibility of objects by taking all layers into account. Thus, if an object is fully visible in its layer, but is obscured by something that may be on another layer above it, it is selected. -
"
Determine visibility within each layer separately, disregarding objects on other layers
". This option only judges the visibility of objects on each layer, regardless of whether or not another layer above it is obscuring them. Each layer is judged independently. -
"
Determine visibility within the current selection, disregarding other objects
". This selection does not consider layers or overall visibility. It only considers objects that are part of a previous selection, which is a needed prerequisite.
