This Enfocus PitStop command allows to assign ICC colour profiles to the fill or stroke colour of objects by applying a label to them.
Since the labeling operation is not really a color conversion but only the establishment of a relationship between objects and color profiles, there must be a correspondence between color modes and assignable profiles; that is, we cannot assign a CMYK profile to an RGB object.
We have to start choosing one of the following four colour modes: (Gray, RGB, CMYK and Lab). If no selection has been made to define the scope of the action, it will affect all objects of that color mode in the document.
So, for example, if we want to assign colour profiles to objects in CMYK and RGB in a document we must repeat the same order twice, once for each color mode.
By checking the corresponding boxes "Apply to fill color
" and "Apply to stroke color
", we can choose whether to apply the ICC labeling to the fill, the stroke or both.
If we want the objects that already have an ICC color profile assigned to be affected by the new labeling, we must check the "Change ICC profile if the object is already tagged
" checkbox.
