This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to change the overprinting of the fill and/or stroke of the selected objects (vector, text, or pixel). We can turn it on and off.
Checking the box "Fill overprint
", we will change the overprinting of the fill of the selected objects. Checking the box "Stroke overprint
", we will change the overprint of the stroke of these objects.
With the corresponding checkbox activated, we can choose the overprint status by clicking on the icon to its right. Each time we click on it, the requested overprint status changes to the opposite:
-
If the icon is this one, the objects will overprint.
-
If the icon is this one, the objects will not overprint; they will knock out.
If no object has been selected, this command will affect all susceptible objects, so its effects should be limited by a previous selection.
The command of above screen grab, would select all the images and texts that have spot inks and it will change them to overprint.
