This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to search for objects with transparencies applied.
Warning: An object in "Normal
" mode with an opacity lower than "100%
" is considered a transparency.
There are two search options:
"Check for all transparent objects
": The search is for all transparent object, regardless of their qualities.
"Only check for transparent objects that also have (…) of the following properties
": The action will only check those objects that have any transparency and one of the following user-selected properties (theye are not mutually exclusive and it is mandatory to choose at least one):
- "
Fill is set to overprint
": Only the fill of the object is marked for overprinting. - "
Stroke is set to overprint
": Only the stroke of the object is marked for overprinting. - "
Graphic element uses a spot color
": This option allows will detect any object which has spot inks and transparencies (something which often cause problems in printing systems).
If we have chosen "... all...
", the objects have to have all the options selected, whereas if we have chosen "... at least one...
", having just one of them will suffice.
If any object that meets the required characteristics is found, the PDF will be marked as selected in the "Log
" area for further processing.
