This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to flatten layers; that is to say: combine them into one and thus eliminate the existence of layers. If you have not delimited which layers are affected by the command, it affects all the layers in the document.
This flattening or combining can be done in three ways:
-
Preserve the initial view of the PDF:
All selected layers are combined and they are no longer a layer, so if we select all existing layers and flatten them, the document will have no layers. -
Preserve the current view of PDF:
Affected layers will be flattened to maintain visual appearance. If any of the affected ones is hidden, it will be deleted (including its content). It is not a simple concealment. -
Make all elements visible:
Selected layers are fully visible before flattening, hidden or not.
