This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to resize the content of the selected pages, scaling it up or down along the vertical or horizontal axes. If no page is selected, the command will affect all pages within range.
It has two main parameters: the amount of resizing and the position to apply it.
The amount
In "Attributes for scale page content
" we can specify how much we want to resize the page content with respect to two axes: Horizontal ("X
") and Vertical ("Y
"). The value is always a percentage and it can be greater than 100% (enlarge) or less than 100% (reduce). Proportional reduction implies writing the same amount in both values.
The location
Resizing can be applied in two ways:
- "
Anchored at the…
": it is reduced or increased by choosing a central point, which is not moved. - "
Moving the content of the page to…
": The whole result is enlarged or reduced and placed at a chosen position on the page.
With both options, the anchor or location point is determined by choosing one of the nine possibilities (in the first drop-down list) with respect to one of the five page boxes (second drop-down list).
Warning: Like other similar commands, this command will not work if an attempt is made to delimit the selection to non-page elements (images or text, for example) before applying it.
Only if we select the "Use page rotation
" checkbox, any page rotation factor the page may have will be taken into account.
