This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to select objects depending on their fill and/or stroke colour.
The selection is made by a particular colour value in one of the six available colour modes, not by colour type or colour space. Only those objects whose fill and/or stroke colour exactly match the specified colour will be selected.
If the "Fill
" checkbox is checked, only objects with that fill colour will be selected, regardless of their stroke colour. The same is true if we check "Stroke
" only.
But if we check both options, only objects that meet both colour conditions will be selected.
By default, the colour modes available to choose from are only five of those that can be used in a PDF: "DeviceGray
", "DeviceRGB
", "DeviceCMYK
", "Calibrated Grey
" and "Calibrated RGB
".
However, through the "User swatch
" option (a colour present in an element we have selected and whose values we pass by capturing them with the "Colour picker
" eyedropper) we can capture and add to the command other colour modes not available in the (such as separation
, deviceN
, NChannel
, pattern
, shading,
etc.).
Warning: This command cannot be applied to pixel images.
